The Range Rover Sport received subtle interior and exterior refinements for 2010 but the real story is the change which occurred under the hood. There is a new more powerful normally aspirated V8 as well as a more powerful supercharged V8. The entire 2010 Land Rover lineup received new engine options which offer both increased performance and efficiency. The new Range Rover engines offer 25% more HP, 16% more torque, and approximately 7% better fuel economy. They also feature direct fuel injection.
- 5.0-liter V8 supercharged, 510 bhp and 461 lb/ft torque
- 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated, 375 bhp and 375 lb/ft torque
Range Rover Sport performance specs:
- 0-60MPH in 7.2 seconds. (normally aspirated V8)
- 0-60 MPH in 5.9 seconds. (supercharged V8
The chasis has been improved for better road feel. For more sportiness paddle gearshifts have been added to the steering column of the Range Rover Sport.
Styling changes include cleaner front-end styling and 50% fewer switches on the interior.
