Bentley Continental GTC

Bentley Motor Cars unveiled the fourth new model since the brand’s 1999 renaissance at their press conference at the 2006 New York International Auto Show-a convertible version of the Continental called the GTC. This is the world’s fastest four-seat convertible, with a top speed of 195 miles per hour, or 190with the top down (!). Built on a rigid steel chassis, we expect the GTC to exhibit none of the shimmying and shaking associated with other drop-tops-and sporting the GT’s 6-liter V12, we expect excellent acceleration as well. As they say, “wings were made for the sky”-make mine a drop-head.
