The C63 AMG just made its North American premiere at the 2007 Los Angeles International Auto Show. Like any AMG vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG packs a lot of power under its hood. The naturally-aspirated 6.3L engine produces 451 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and a maximum 443 lb-ft of torque. The 255hp Lotus Elise 2-Eleven made an appearance at the recent 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2-Eleven is a performance sport coupe that hits 60mph in 3.8 seconds and 100mph in 8.5 seconds.

2009 Nissan GT-R Video: The Legend Is Real

The highly anticipated 2009 Nissan GT-R wowed the crowds at the 2007 LA Auto Show. Nissan’s President, Carlos Ghosn, presented the GT-R which features an all-new 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 producing 480 horsepower and an estimated 430 lb-ft of torque, backed by an all-new, paddle-shifted GR6 sequential 6-speed dual clutch rear transaxle.
When June 2008 rolls around and you can finally get your hands on a GT-R, expect base pricing of $69,850 and the Premium Package (standard Bose sound system, heated seats, side airbags) starting at $71,900.

The 10th generation, 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution debuted at the 2007 Los Angeles International Auto Show with an all-new aluminum 291 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged intercooled engine (300 lb-ft of torque) and a lean, muscular look. The shark-inspired front end and low center of gravity gives the Evo a fierce, aggressive look, fitting of its performance capabilities. The Lancer Evo will come with 18″ BBS forged alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, Rockford Fosgate audio, and 2 transmission options: 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic with 3 driving modes.

2008 BMW M3 Coupe Video

Boasting a new aluminum 4.0-liter V8, the 4th generation 2008 BMW M3 Coupe graced the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show with its presence. The new V8 does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, redlines at 8,400 rpm, and produces 414 horsepower, which is a 24% horsepower increase from the previous generation. The engine also consumes 8% less fuel. The carbon fiber roof panel adds to the sporty, aggressive look while also cutting down on weight by 40 pounds compared to the optional steel version.
