Porsche is yet another manufacturer who has jumped on the alternative fuels bandwagon. At the recent 2007 LA Auto Show, Porsche introduced their Cayenne Hybrid Concept, a sporty, luxurious SUV that will (hopefully) decrease fuel consumption by 25%-33% while (hopefully) doing the Porsche badge justice.

2008 Porsche 911 GT2 Video and Photos

The 3rd generation 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 debuted at the 2007 Los Angeles International Auto Show. The 570hp, GT2 is lighter than its 911 Turbo brother and has more brute force than its 911 GT3 sibling.

Porsche Cayenne Hybrid Unveiled

Porsche just showed their Cayenne Hybrid at the 2007 LA Auto Show. Porsche, who is hoping to decrease fuel consumption by about 25%, specifically in city traffic, is aiming to get 24 miles per gallon from the Cayenne Hybrid and hopes to push it up to 26-mpg in the near future.

The unveiling of the 2008 Porsche Cayenne from the North American International Auto Show marks the world debut of the more powerful second generation Porsche sport utility vehicle.

The second generation SUV can be equipped with optional Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC). PDCC offers active anti-roll bars which almost completely offsets body roll in turns, improving handling, comfort and active safety on-road while providing enhanced off-pavement traction.
