The Ford Verve was revealed at the 2008 North American International Auto Show. The Verve is a concept vehicle that is designed to be the vision for the new small cars that Ford will soon introduce in North America.

The Verve comes in four- and three- door body styles. While it is set to debut in Europe and Asia beginning later this year, the Verve is not expected to debut in North America until 2010. The four-door is the basis for the production vehicle that will be sold in North America whereas the European three-door model is being shown in Detroit to see how the market will react to the bodystyle; if the reaction is favorable, the three-door model may be added to the North American market. The Verve sedan will be powered by a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine.
