GM really stole the show with the exciting Volt concept. The plug-in electric hybrid is the ultimate flex-fuel vehicle. The concept is to allow for ultimate flexibility by powering an internal combustion engine as needed but only as a backup for the primary electric motors. The internal combustion engine can be powered by a number of fuels including bio-diesel, gasoline and various flex fuels.
